So its been a minute since i’ve updated you all and that is in large part due to being sucked into StarTrek Online.
This game is nothing new to many MMO players but wow has it held up well. I am as you all could guess playing on Xbox which is a few months behind but it is still a wonderful experiance with House United launched back in August.
Also for an older MMO they have a ton of different campaign paths which has not helped my mindless hours put into my many different characters.
What do you all think have you played STO? What faction is your favorite, what about ship what do you like to fly around in. I would love to more.
Hey Wonderful Readers,
I know i am probably late to the party but can we all talk about how amazing Stellaris is. Regardless of if you play on PC or on console like myself. This is a true masterpiece of a strategy game.
I love this game. Lets start with how amazing it is that you can make your own empire from the ground up. Pic a profile and go from there. What do you want to be called, what will your people hold dear. Are you a military power or more of a peaceful nation. Do you have a Republic, Military Junta, Kingdom, Empire or something else entirely. You can do that and it is just the start.
Are you a hive mind, or a machine intellegence what is your reason for being. To bring the galaxy together or be a monster and tear it apart. The choice is yours and that is amazing.
All of this is not including the in game events that happen, the mid game events, and of course the end game crisis. Working with or against our galactic brothers and sisters in the senate.
No Stellaris run is ever going to be the same and it is truly a blast. Also getting your friends invovled is also a great thing and adds to the fun you can have because everyone is going to have their own ideas of what to do and how to do it. Most my my friends are all about war. I am more of the diplomatic way building friendships and defensive pacts. There is no one way to play your empire.
Have you all played Stellaris, what do you like or dislike or do you have another you all love?
Hello Fellow Readers!
So I have been thinking about what makes a game a visual novel. I ask this because I have been thinking couldn’t any RPG be considered a visual novel? According to Wikipedia a visual novel is as follows, “A visual novel (Japanese: ビジュアルノベル, Hepburn: bijuaru noberu), often abbreviated as VN, is an interactive fiction video game genre, featuring text-based story with narrative style of literature and interactivity aided by static or sprite-based visuals, most often using anime-style art or occasionally live-action stills (and sometimes video footage). As the name suggests, they resemble mixed-media novels.” I will post the wiki article here for you all to to review.
So all that being said I guess that would answer the question of why not all RPG’s can be seen as visual novels however that does not mean we can’t say other games and RPG’s are fun. Such as KOTOR, DRAGON AGE, others are amazing games in their own right. After all we can romance our friends in those games as well just like a good Otome game. If we took out the models and added the sprites any good RPG could be turned into a VN. How cool would that be?
Hello Friends! 🙂
Guess what i started to do. Thats right i started to stream on Twitch! Wow is that an experiance to say the least. Ha. I am just streaming through my Xbox and only have five followers but i love it.
Do you all stream? Anyone have any tips? I am still learning my way around this whole streaming business hah. I should probably stream some Otome games but what do you all think I should play,
Presently streaming wise I am streaming a lot of Warframe, Dead by Daylight, and Elder Scrolls online. Warframe is a really fun game to play with friends along with Dead by Daylight but two totally different play styles.
So to add to my damn social accounts I now have SnapChat, Tiktok, Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest.. Wow a lot to juggle but I’ll manage. All the links can be find on the site and also on my profile. I am still very much a noob in a lot of things but trying to learn something new every day and that to me in so exciting to say the least.
To follow me on Twitch head to http://www.twitch.tv/otomebro I look forward to seeing you all there and so we can have a great time.
So the Count of Saint Germain has been keeping me company while I recover from a small surgery. We’ve been walking around the London of Code Realize: Gaurdian of Rebirth and he has been showing me all the differences of a steam city of the 19th Century. Now it will be interesting to see how the game plays out this myth of a man. Will I know why he regularly prays will i end up being the one of the reasons why he smiles? He is not an easy read.
The count up to this point of Code Realize seems to just be along for the fun of it. He is not a master thief like Lupin, or Vampire hunter like Van Hellsing, or tinker with machines like Impey or master chemist like Victor. He in the plan of a heist would be the money haha.
Saint Germain is allowing us all to stay at his country estate simply because it tickles his fancy. The only reason he knows of Lupin and Impey at the start of the game is because he ran into them and insisted to take part in their plan not because he was actually recruited. I find this interesting from a story standpoint because it is a lingering question of why?
I will be interested in seeing how the MC and the Count relationship evovles as the stories continue. He has been great company while i recover. Now we are off to rob a train talk later. 🙂
I hope all is well with you all! So I am finishing up my routes of Cafe Enchante and realized that Ignis is so much like a FWB I used to have. Now don’t get me wrong they are different to a degree but they check a lot of the same boxes.

Maybe I am reading to much into it but it made me chuckle and I’ll admit happy memories came up. However it was strange to see. Has this happened to anyone else?
So I was looking at sprucing up Otomebro and was reviewing past post and WOW the backlog page is a good reminder of where I was, am, and still need to get to. So lets get started shall we.
This was my backlog as of February:
- Finish Cafe Enchante
- Finish Collar X Mallice
- Code Realize: Guardian of Rebirth
- Code Realize: Future Blessings
- Piofiore: Fated Memories
As of April this is where we are:
- I finished nearly all of Cafe Enchante
- Still need to finished Collar X Mallice
- Still need to finish Code Realize: Guardians of Rebirth
- Still need to start Code Realize: Future Blessings
- Still need to finish Piofiore: Fated Memories.
- Finished the first route in NekoJinshi
- Finished Adastra
- Finished first route in Extra Curricular Activities
Clearly I have work to do but also I have made some movement so that is great.
What does everyone have going on right now in their backlog?
Hello Friends! 🙂 For the first time ever in my life I am doing some Extra Curricular Activates with some hot men. This is also due to playing the dating sim of the same name Extra Curricular Activities. This LGBT furry gay game is super cute and set in college.
You are playing as a college human tennis player among some furry teammates. The art style is great my only issue with the art design is with the design of the MC you play. I feel like he looks like a middle aged man not a college athlete. Maybe its just me though.
Presently I am playing the route of Spencer your adorable best friend from before college and it is a great story with some fantastic dialog and great art. Put on top of that Spencer has some secrets of his own while he is going through college you find out along the way. He is the bestest boy who also happens to be a husky haha. He may be Spencer in the story but to me he is White Thunder 🙂
I am excited to see the rest of the story of Spencer play out along with the rest of the routes the game has including the teams Tennis coach. The team who did this clearly has a lot of love and care into the game and highly recommend everyone give it a go.
Hello friends! Happy Thursday. Let me just say wow. I finished Adastra and loved the ending. Yes I know the second is in progress and I will be playing that with time but WOW the feels. Still even with ending it had the story wrapped up nicely and I am excited to see what the future holds for the series.
For all my furry lovers and for all my friends in the LGBTQ Community I highly recommend this visual novel to be added to your collection and I am excited to see what the team at Echo Project has in the works.
Also I will also say the art style is also great and I have to tip my hat to Haps the lead artist for Adastra. It was an art style that felt new and fresh and the expressions of the characters absolutely matched the mood of the scene wonderfully well I felt as if I was in the world. When a character smirked on screen I couldn’t help but smirk as well.
Let me also say the writing was great Amicus and the growing relationship with the main character was a wonderful change of pace from the norm of just flat out randomly falling in love at first sight. You grow to love Amicus, and Amicus to you. I never wanted to feel a fluffy emperor then I did with him. When the end of the game comes I never wanted to stop feeling then I did in those last few moments.
Again though I am stoked to see the team continue this story but I also loved the MC. You are not some random helpless baby and you make that perfectly clear early on but no spoilers don’t worry.
Over all a truly masterpiece of a game all furry and LGBT people should give a whirl.
Hey everyone Otome here at 5:43am my time and as I wait for my McDonald’s breakfast because I couldn’t sleep anymore. I got thinking. Does anyone, guy or girl have a favorite character from an Otome game; actually lets broaden that. Does anyone have any favorite character from a dating sim period. For me I am still on team Ignis from Cafe Enchante.
I’ll be the first to say it is not that others can’t get it. To me its is like falling in love with a character from your favorite novel that clicked for you. You always remember your first. Oh god I just realized my personal and gaming life hit a bit to close to home with me liking Ignis. Ha how life and art mix will always surprise me. Anywho moving on…
What drew you to that character in that visual novel or that otome game or that book. Was it the time period, the fact they could cook, were sweet, or maybe it was they were the bad boy, or the dark brooding vampire who you wanted to show that you could be their light when their life has been cast into a world of shadow.
Otome games I am noticing are helping me expand on what I missed in my youth, they allow me to explore loving the bad boy or the crazy gear head while safe in my condo from a pandemic lol. It makes me wonder when others play these games who do they go for. Are they exactly like they are in life or do they go for the complete opposite because it is a game.
