Spending my recovery with a Count

Hey Friends,

So the Count of Saint Germain has been keeping me company while I recover from a small surgery. We’ve been walking around the London of Code Realize: Gaurdian of Rebirth and he has been showing me all the differences of a steam city of the 19th Century. Now it will be interesting to see how the game plays out this myth of a man. Will I know why he regularly prays will i end up being the one of the reasons why he smiles? He is not an easy read.

The count up to this point of Code Realize seems to just be along for the fun of it. He is not a master thief like Lupin, or Vampire hunter like Van Hellsing, or tinker with machines like Impey or master chemist like Victor. He in the plan of a heist would be the money haha.

Saint Germain is allowing us all to stay at his country estate simply because it tickles his fancy. The only reason he knows of Lupin and Impey at the start of the game is because he ran into them and insisted to take part in their plan not because he was actually recruited. I find this interesting from a story standpoint because it is a lingering question of why?

I will be interested in seeing how the MC and the Count relationship evovles as the stories continue. He has been great company while i recover. Now we are off to rob a train talk later. 🙂

Victorian Men spend Sunday making me smile

Hello Dear Friends! 🙂

So i spent Sunday gaming in bed playing Code Realize: Gaurdian of Rebirth since pain wise it was not the best of days.

Then i was swept away and taken to a carnival by Lupin, Victor and Impey. Truly a great time. The smells of vendors, the laughter, the good times. This route since it is my first play through i decided to spend it with Victor and munching on some fairy floss. Which can i just say screw calling it cotton candy. I hear by say we need to bring back the term fairy floss haha.

Victor thus far is my favorite guy in this game. He is sweet, caring, smart and geeky haha. All in the best of ways. Also does no one else think its funny that he has a pair of victorian headphones around his neck. Like what does he plug them into. i love how in this game we can see them starting their day around the breakfast table enjoying a meal and figuring out their plan for the day ahead.

Might switch things up and see if the count has anything to say or do. Everyone if they haven’t needs to read where our charming men come from in in myth and ledgend. Really fancinating stuff.

These men in these games make a lazy painful sunday so much more enjoyable. What do you all do to unwind?

Holy Crap my FWB was Ignis from Cafe Enchante lol

Hey friends,

I hope all is well with you all! So I am finishing up my routes of Cafe Enchante and realized that Ignis is so much like a FWB I used to have. Now don’t get me wrong they are different to a degree but they check a lot of the same boxes.

Ignis:

Male

White as wonderbread

Can play sports

loves to cook

loves dogs

Werewolf type characteristic

Always hungry

Good Fighter

FWB:

Male

Plays sports

Was awesome in the kitchen

Loved dogs and owned a dog.

Loved Wolves.

Knew how to fight

Always hungry

Maybe I am reading to much into it but it made me chuckle and I’ll admit happy memories came up. However it was strange to see. Has this happened to anyone else?

Who doesn’t love Victorian men

Okie dokie friends, Happy Sunday! I am up at the ungodly hour of 6am my time because daylight savings is here. I guess that is a yay, maybe, eh not for me. Anyway who doesn’t love Victorian men, better yet who doesn’t love Victorian men in steam punk London, answer everyone loves them!.

If you haven’t guessed I have started playing Code Realize: Guardian of Rebirth. So far I love it. I mean the whole being a lady whose skin can melt people is new but a cool twist and it will be interesting to see how it shapes out.

I will admit Lupin does little for me right now other then being a pretty face. Presently I am being a big fan of Impey Barbicane the hair, and he is not afraid to get his hands dirty. Show me how to work that car Daddy. Ha, that was a cringe worthy moment however still made me laugh at my own joke. What is everyone’s go to?

Otome Games are Ruining my expectations in Men

I feel like this is a regular occurrence in romance novels and I totally have fallen for it as well. However I never thought I would have it in a game. Regardless of what Otome Game I am playing I am finding that god damn I am falling for these guys as much as the female character I am playing.

Yeah I get they all will fit a typical stereo type but damn they do it so well. Be it the cool leader, the bad boy with the heart of gold, the goodie goodie who is about honor, or last the smart clumsy one. None of this is a bad thing it makes replaying part of the fun but they shouldn’t make them so damn charming.

Take Ignis from Cafe Enchante. I would be on him in a nano second if I could. Sure the other men are great and hit their mark with others but Ignis to me is just the bomb dot com. From his love of animals to his firey temper to his love of cooking and sense of Justice all of it made me love his character so much. Also including his back story when you do his route.

Alright show me a man like that in today’s world. I’ll wait but I doubt someone can show me someone. Curse you Otome games haha.

Wow am I on a back log haha. Also I got two more Otome games. SO to review here is what’s on my Otome backlog plate.

  1. Finish Cafe Enchante
  2. Finish Collar X Mallice
  3. Code Realize: Guardian of Rebirth
  4. Code Realize: Future Blessings
  5. Piofiore: Fated Memories

Clearly I have my work cut out for me but I am excited. I have already started Collar X Mallice and Code Realize so i’ll keep everyone posted. What does everyone else have on their back log list?

Making my way through Cafe Enchante and loving it

So as the title states i am working my way through the otome game Cafe Enchante. This very much for me was my dive into the world of Otome games and started the birth of this blog haha.

I have finished two of the five paths with Canus being the first and Ignis being the second. As of writing this i am making my way though Il’s path. The art style is great and I am finding the story super cute.

You are the owner of Cafe Enchante your late grandfathers coffee shop. When you go to take ownership you find a door and this door leads to other worlds where you meet the men you can romance.

Maybe because this is my first Otome game but I want to see how the different paths evolve and how they end. I’ll keep you all post on my progress and also a write out of each path as it goes. 🙂
